Now I'm settled down for a good long rest. You do not need to complete the jobs in Riften because the thieves guild already has presence in Riften. Word games. Where Are the Thieves Guild fences oblivion? Who is the best fence in Oblivion? Who are the Thieves Guild fences? What level should I join the Dark Brotherhood oblivion? Can you destroy the Thieves Guild? Should I kill the Dark Brotherhood oblivion? Can you bribe guards in Oblivion? Especially so on the road to Bruma, which was much, much less well patrolled compared to the roads between Anvil, Skingrad, Chorrol, and the Imperial City.

We ran into trouble a few times, but I sniped trouble down each time, and the only brigand that really gave us a time was this Skyrim Champion. Much like the agents of Elsweyr who were encroaching near Skingrad, it seemed forces from Skyrim had crossed the Jerall Mountains and were looking to cause trouble down south.

He shrugged off a few arrows like the were nothing, and came right at me. It was quite the battle. I ducked and dodged with everything I had learned from Andragil, while Ruin prodded for weaknesses in that armor. We wore him down together, whittling him down little by little, until finally he turned his back, and I planted my sword between his ribs, taking him down at last.

Further up the road, I noticed movement, and quickly crouched. Ruin and I hiding behind a nearby rock as we spied Ruin and I sneaked passed the Giant without incident, and continued on our way, thankful the Giant decided not to bother us. Around a bend or two, and we finally arrived. There was Bruma in the distance, and we closed in on it quickly, tipping our proverbial hats to the guards before passing through the gate.

The mountain air was shiveringly cold when we arrived. It smelled crisp and icy, with faint hints of pine. The city looked even more rugged than Chorrol, and it sprawled out before us as we went seeking our goals here. Now I'm settled down for a good long rest.

It's unfair to Ongar to assume anything, but if I didn't know better I would say he was quite the skooma abuser in his earlier days, which would also explain his apathy towards life. Maybe someday Ongar will regain his enthusiasm for life, but chances are he'll be apathetic until the day he dies. Ongar's quite the world-weary thief, but it's that un-enthusiastic characteristic that makes Ongar live on as an infamous legend in the hearts and minds of all who meet him.
